EverBrite\u2122 provides a high level of protection from photobleaching to prolong fluorescence over a wide range of wavelengths. EverBrite\u2122 Mounting Medium has a refractive index of 1.46, which is well-matched to the refractive indices of coverslip glass and immersion oil (1.5). The mounting medium remains liquid and permits immediate imaging of slides and tissues. After sealing the coverslip edges with nail polish or Biotium&#8217;s\u00a0CoverGrip\u2122 Coverslip Sealant, the slides can be stored at 4\u00b0C for a year or longer. EverBrite is available with or without DAPI for nuclear counterstaining.
