– GloMelt™ dye undergoes fluorescence enhancement upon binding to hydrophobic regions of denatured proteins. GloMelt™ can therefore be used to detect protein unfolding or protein thermal stability by performing a thermal shift assay, also called differential scanning fluorimetry or Thermofluor assay.
