– H₂DCFDA (2′,7′-Dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate) is a useful fluorogenic reagent to detect reactive oxygen intermediates in cells. On oxidation, H₂DCFDA becomes the highly green fluorescent 2′,7′-dichlorofluorescein.
